The following necklaces are made by Krobo women of Ghana. They use a large variety of materials and each is a one of a kind piece. The Krobo live in the Eastern Region of the country and are Ghana's fourth largest ethnic groupl numbering about 150,000.

You'll find beads created from bamboo, large seeds, clay and stone; they are sometimes created using plastic seed beads for detail as well. Some are painted; others have the color "built in" via recycled glass. No two are alike; yet each one is stunning. Beautiful yet affordable, they are a great way to get your holiday shopping done without hurting the wallet. Frankly, no one receiving them would ever suspect you paid so little while looking at their new piece of jewelry!

	Bamboo like you've never seen it before! These two are the different versions of the bamboo necklace that the ladies in Ghana sent to Mama this time. The one on the right has the Gye Nyame symbol which symbolizes the power of God.

	Not quite the same... Here is a great looking simple necklace that you just won't want to take off once you put it on. It is the "same" basic design; yet as you can tell quite different versions of it. GH-BD-233 has a splash of color and GH-BD-239 was created in more natural tones.
